Q. Is bedding included in the cabins?

A. All bedding and linen is provided to all cabins.

Q. Do we get Television Reception?

A. Broken Hill has moved to Digital, if you are staying in one of our cabins you will have access to a number of Austar Channels along with Digital television channels. Site accommodation with own television can access all local channels.

Q. Are all cabins air conditioned?

A. All cabins come complete with air conditioning for maximum comfort.

Q. Does my cabin have an ensuite?

A. Yes, all cabins from Superior to budget have full ensuite including shower, toilet and hand basin.

Q. What time can I check in?

A. Check in for cabins is from 2pm with site accommodation available for check in from10am.

Q. How far from town is the park.

A. Broken Hill Tourist Park is located only 5 minutes drive or a comfortable 40 minute walk from the town centre. We are approximately 3 minutes by car and ten to 15 minutes walk to Centro Shopping Plaza.

Q. How close are you to public transport?

A. There is a Local Bus service that stops immediately outside the park.

Q. Is there a Courtesy Bus?

A. Couresty bus is run by one of the clubs and will pick you up and return you to the park.

Q. What is the situation with taking fruit and vegetables in and out of Broken Hill?

A. Coming in from the East on the Barrier Hwy, visitors are required to dispose of a range of all fruit and vegetables. Exiting Broken Hill to the South on the Barrier Highway and South East on the Silver City Hwy you will be required to discard a range/all fruit and vegetables. Q. How do I find you on GPS

A. south 31 57'40 east 141 26'13 or input Barrier Highway. Our address is 142 Rakow Street Broken Hill NSW 2880. Rakow Street runs into Williams Street and the Barrier Highway/Adelaide Road. They are all one of the same.

Q. Are you a Pet Friendly Park?

A. At Broken Hill Tourist Park Pets can have holidays too! We cater for domestic friends but not all our guests choose to holiday with pet companions. To ensure that everyone enjoys their stay there are conditions that must be agreed to when making your booking and upon check in at the park;

  • Pets must be registered on arrival to the park where terms and conditions will be signed in an agreement.
  • We have Designated Pet Friendly Cabins and pets are only allowed inside these Designated Pet Friendly Cabins".
  • Pets are welcome on all site bookings.
  • Maximum of two pets permitted per cabin or site.
  • Pets must be on a lead at all times and remain restrained within your site or cabin boundary.
  • You are responsible to attend to your pets needs and clean up after them.
  • Pets must not bark or whine and be a nuisance to other guests.
  • Pets are not permitted in any of the parks communal areas such as amenities, laundry, pool area, playgrounds, camp kitchen, BBQ area, etc.

Travelling dogs do need regular walks so on arrival to the park we can provide information on areas where you can walk your pet.

Owners must accept responsibility for their pet. Your pet must NOT cause harm, injury, bark or rush at any person or persons property, other animals or damage park property or grounds.
